Only You Have The Power

Recently I read an article written by a well known hypnotherapist. The following extract took my attention;

For example, many hypnotists believe that they can hypnotize anyone, anywhere, and anytime. But some say that not everyone can actually be hypnotized, that some people have a stronger will that can go against the hypnotists strategies.

Isn't that FANTASTIC?? While the writer seemed to class this as a negative point I really do like it as if you do not feel safe nothing is going to occur. In any form of therapy 99 times out of a 100 you (the client) comes first and in no way would you be forced into situations that you wouldn't willingly proceed with. Yes there are exceptions to every rule but why would you willingly throw your self into a situation if you weren't happy, and wouldn't you be less happy if you were taken unawares??

If you are not happy with your hypnotherapist, or the environment you are in, or for that matter, you aren't 100% sold on hypnosis you are not going to get as big a bang for your buck as you would if totally comfortable. So talk to your hypnotherapist when you see them, ask any questions as many times as you feel you must. Because hypnosis is a personal thing where you have the power, the happier you are the better the connection with the hypnotherapist and the better the hypnosis will be - you have the power and you can make it happen!!
